Donald Trump is openly threatening war on Venezuela – deploying warships off its coast, forcing the closure of its airspace, and now saying land operations could begin “very soon.”
Such a reckless intervention would bring huge civilian suffering and a wider regional destabilisation.
Whatever excuses Trump gives, this is about grabbing Venezuela’s vast oil reserves.
Now is the time to speak out — for peace, for sovereignty, and against yet another disastrous US-led war.
